Having a good time on 6mtr sail. Big board started to get a bit hectic, so changed down to score88. As the wind inceased, Dunk and the rest of the kiters packed in and Al, Spen and me went out on our wave boards and 5mtr sails.
Wasn't too sure how I'd get on with my new 2nd hand 82ltr board , with me being about 93kg but I was sailing it ok. I wasn't that comfortable with the difficult conditions though, as it was my first time on the sea since I got injured In November.
My foot was a little too far into the back strap and I was on my way in to adjust it when I stuck the nose of the board into the water at speed, after going off a bit of chop. Thought I'd bust it at first but it seems ok now, if not a little sore.
Had a few crappy runs after that, then watched Al and Spen going for forward loops. Both got quite close to pulling them off. ( didn't see Al's successful loop). Some pretty impressive wipe outs in there attemps as well.
